Brighton Tri Club is a young and vibrant 'Star Mark' accredited Triathlon club, based in Brighton & Hove and Ringmer, East Sussex, and catering for adults and children (aged 8yrs to 13yrs) of all abilities and levels of experience in the sport.
Despite being barely 18 months old we have over 160 members, of whom over 50% were complete novices in the sport at the point of joining.
Our aim is to provide a fun, inspirational and supportive environment in which to learn and develop skills and fitness for Triathlon, through regular structured training and quality coaching with like-minded people. Go to Join us to find out more, check out our Training page for the latest session info and Sussex Tristars to find out more about the junior section or email us if you have questions. You are always welcome to try us before you join.
We are an inclusive and welcoming club supporting many people through their first Triathlon alongside our experienced athletes and as such the club is open to anyone aged 18 or over regardless of experience. If you want to be involved with Triathlon, we'd love to train with you!
Our longer-term goals include the development of the junior section, providing opportunities for the whole family to get involved.
The Brighton Tri Club committee is very pleased to announce the combining of the Sussex Tristars kids triathlon club with Brighton Tri Club with effect from the 1st October 2014. This is a big step forward for the club and achieves another of the objectives that were set out when the club was first formed in 2013.
Brighton Tri Club are delighted to announce an agreement with the Tri Store in Eastbourne, the South Coast's premier store for all things triathlon. All members of Brighton Tri Club are now eligible for in-store discounts - above and beyond the expert and friendly service given by the Tri Store team.
We are extremely pleased and proud to announce that within 15 months of officially launching, Brighton Tri Club has been accredited with 'STAR club' status by Triathlon England. The Star Mark indicates that Brighton Tri Club has reached a minimum level of standards and is now officially recognised by Sport England, British Triathlon, Triathlon England, fellow triathletes, sports professionals and the community as a quality Triathlon Club.
Brighton Tri Club's AGM is being held at the Velo Cafe on the Level at 7:30pm this Friday, 3rd October. Not only will this give you a chance to catch up with Tri-friends whilst actually wearing clothes for once and to vote on developments within the club, we are also hosting the prize-giving for the Brighton Tri Club Championships at the same time. Trophies will be awarded to the best of our Novice and experienced athletes alike. Come down and support them for this once a year occasion!
