Brighton Tri Club is a vibrant 'Star Mark' accredited triathlon club, based in Brighton & Hove (adults) and in Ringmer (juniors), East Sussex, and catering for adults and children (aged 8yrs to 13yrs) of all abilities and levels of experience in the sport. It is also the Triathlon England South East region 'Club of the Year 2014'.
The club currently has c.150 adult members and c.30 junior members. We have found that over 50% of the adults joining our club were complete novices in the sport at the point of joining.
Our aim is to provide a fun, friendly, inspirational and supportive environment in which to learn and develop skills and fitness for triathlon, through regular structured training and quality coaching with like-minded people. Go to Join us to find out more, check out our Training page for the latest session info and our Sussex Tristars website to find out more about the junior section; or simply email us if you have any questions. You are always welcome to try us before you join.
We pride ourselves in being an inclusive and welcoming club supporting many people through their first triathlon alongside our experienced athletes, a number of whom represent Great Britain in international age group races. As such the club is open to all regardless of experience, background or ability. If you want to be involved with triathlon, we'd love to train with you!
New Year's Eve may still be around the corner to catch the unwary Triathlete in it's boozy claws, but fear not - salvation is at hand shortly after. On Saturday 10th January the club is hosting the second outing of our club off-road Duathlon Navigation Event - Stamina. Come and work off a mince pie & sherry or two in the stunning grounds of Stanmer Park with your buddies from the club.
With just as much drama as the final of Strictly Come Dancing - and at least as much lycra - the Brighton Tri Club championship results have finally been announced. The overall winners are Mik Onions and Leanne Garner, with a host of other super-stars recognised for their performances across the season.
Well done all of you!
