This year's theme is "Trouble in the cosmos". With a rogue comet due to destroy the earth, it’s up to Brighton Tri to save the day. Which at least means we have a fighting chance.

Register yourself, family and friends, using the link below, and we will do the rest. On your arrival, we'll split you into two teams that will take on the challenge of scouring the park for fuel containers and collecting enough fuel for the "ray gun" to defend the earth. You can take part as a runner or a MTB cyclist. However, cyclists may also want to bring their running shoes.

Stamina is for everyone. Adults and Tristar members, their friends, families, and the dogs. Everyone is welcome, it’s a great way to catch up with old friends, new members, and enjoy the great outdoors. The perfect way to help burn off those mince pies.

Where & When

9am, 9th January, Stanmer Park, Falmer, Brighton BN1 9QA (Please note - this is the postcode for the buildings at the entrance to the park, not the precise location of the meeting point).

Enter Stanmer Park via Stony Mere Way. If you’re driving, park in the first car park on the right. Don’t forget to pay. The meeting point is adjacent to the playing field slightly further into the park on the right.

There are buses to Stanmer Park Gates from the Old Steine, route 78.

The briefing is at 9.30am, so we recommend being there by 9am. There’s always a lot of tactics and strategy to be discussed with the team leaders. We should’ve saved the world by midday, just in time for lunch!

Anything Else?

  1. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. If it’s wet you may want a spare set of dry clothes.

  2. You will be running in the park, so ideally you want some off-road running shoes.

  3. If you are planning on being one of the cyclists, you will need a Mountain Bike in good repair, and you must wear a helmet.

  4. Please bring your own food and drinking water.
