VOLUNTEER
Volunteering is the lifeblood of Brighton Tri Club. Everyone involved, from coaches and committee members to marshals at events, are volunteers who freely give up their time, enthusiasm and skills to help you, the club, our local community, and the world of triathlon.
If you’ve benefitted from being a member of this club, wouldn’t it feel great to give back? Volunteering with us is fun, a great way to connect with other members, and helps ensure we can carry on for years into the future.
Whether a new member, an old hand, a member's relation or a member of the public, everyone is welcome to help out at our events or as a someone who would like to get more involved at the heart of the club. Regular volunteers receive a coveted, personally named hi-viz jacket!

PADDLE SWIM CLASSICS 2022
Please mark in your diary the 3rd of July to volunteer at our largest event of the year, the Paddle Swim Classics!
Every year until COVID-19 hit, we ran Brighton’s largest open water swim events as part of the Paddle Around The Pier festival based on Hove Lawns. We are delighted to announce that 3rd July will see us back on the beach helping raise money for the great Paddle charities and topping up the club operating funds.
We need enough volunteers to help set up, marshal and clear up afterwards. The first swim is at 7.15 am, with the last scheduled to be over by lunchtime. So it will be a long morning, with an early start for some. If you can't make the whole event but can do a few hours, that’s great too. The more of us who are there, the betters it works. Ask anyone who has helped at this event before, and they’ll say that it's enormous fun and very rewarding.
