






Brighton Tri Club is a young triathlon club which provides a fun, inspirational and supportive environment for triathlon performance improvement through regular structured training and coaching with like-minded people.
With a strong social side to match our grassroots focus, the club welcomes anyone aged 18 or above regardless of experience. If you want to be involved with Triathlon, we'd love to train with you!
Our longer-term goals include the development of a junior section, providing opportunities for the whole family to get involved.

Dr Kerry McGawley, Associate Professor at the Department of Health Sciences (HOV), Mid Sweden University, specialising in Sports Science, and an L2 British Triathlon coach.
Kerry’s presentation, “Planning & Executing your Triathlon Season”, aims to help members use the latest scientific research to plan their preparation and training for the 2025 triathlon season.
Over the coming months, we will hold similar seminars exclusively for club members covering various topics, including nutrition, training and planning.

Following the success of our last Club workshop, the next in the series "Nutritional Considerations for Training and Racing" recording is available to watch. Presented by club member Dr Kerry McGawley. Kerry is an Associate Professor at the Department of Health Sciences (HOV), Mid Sweden University, specialising in Sports Science. She is also an L2 British Triathlon coach with a wealth of knowledge and experience in sports nutrition.
Covering various topics, including macronutrients, micronutrients and supplements/ergogenic aids, Kerry will help you apply the latest nutritional research to your training and racing.
Practical tips and advice will benefit you whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting your triathlon journey.
