Brighton Tri Club's 'BIG RIDE' 2015
/As you are hopefully already aware Brighton Tri Club will be running its inaugural cycling sportive on Sunday 22nd March 2015 and now is the time to register your interest in either doing it or helping out as a marshal.
The event is open to club members and their friends and family.
We have one objective: to get adult and junior club members, families and friends out on their bikes for an informal, fun and scenic ride. The entry fee (to cover costs) will be £10 for each adult. Juniors (<18yrs) will be free but must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age is 7yrs but please consider the ‘challenge' carefully to make sure that children are not put off cycling!
There are 5 routes to choose from, all starting and finishing in Shoreham:
- THE FUN 36 - 36km/170m - ideal for younger families as follows the Downs Link path rather than public roads. There is also a potential option to stop at the feed station after 18km and get a club taxi (FOC) back to Shoreham - see further details below the form.
- THE TOUR 40 - 40km/371m
- THE CHALLENGE 60 - 60km/593m
- THE GRANDO 80 - 80km/940m
- THE EPIC 100 - 100km/1262m
